2022 Seminar Annual Forum
June 6-8 brought together Seminarians, guests and speakers in Park City, Utah for high-level program content and experience activities, and long-overdue networking and connections.
Each day brought insightful topics on social trends and issues, the world of media, geopolitics, and scientific advancements.
The world of media was covered by a panel on new media startups, another on the significance and future of local newspapers, and a session on investigative journalism. Additional timely topics included voting rights and civic engagement, bridging the partisan divide, teens and mental health, afghani women rights and voices, psychedelic-assisted therapies, reproduction rights, artificial intelligence, the nowhere office of today’s work environment and the era of shareholder activism.
The Seminar took full advantage of the stunning Park City location. Seminarians and guests spent Monday afternoon ziplining, bobsledding, tubing and navigating down the alpine slide. They closed the day with an evening at High West Saloon in downtown Park City. Late Tuesday afternoon brought additional experiences of hiking, shopping on Main Street, the National Ability Center, and painting on a scenic deck at our exquisite hotel property, Stein Eriksen Lodge. Early morning and afternoon Yoga & Meditation was led by lululemon Ambassador Sloane Zupon.
Of course, there were evenings of fellowship at meals, receptions and nightcap gatherings and a special Seminar Goes to the Movies night. The Seminar welcomed thirty First-Time Seminarians from across the world and business sectors with a reception and orientation breakfast.
These are just a few highlights shared to jog your memory about what makes The Seminar so special and to give Seminarians who could not join us a sampling of what they missed. So, mark your calendars now and start planning for the 2023 Seminar in Nashville, Tennessee, June 11-14 at the Omni Hotel.
